Ben is the managing partner at Etrends Group, where he leads the firm with a mix of strategic insight, technical expertise, and genuine care for the business owners he serves.
His career in finance and accounting began in 1999 with Army Finance, where he developed a foundation of discipline, precision, and service. After completing his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Southern Utah University, he went on to earn a Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University—training that fuels his passion for high‑level tax strategy.

Over the years, Ben has built a reputation for making advanced tax planning accessible to some of America’s most successful small businesses and their owners. He is a skilled audit representative and a trusted advisor who helps entrepreneurs understand their financial statements and use them as powerful tools for growth and smarter decision‑making.

At home, Ben and his wife, Charity, are raising eight children and stay active in their community through meaningful volunteer work.

Dave is a seasoned sales and marketing executive and serial entrepreneur. He founded a renewable energy company and took it public, and he brings that high-level experience to our firm and our clients

Jeff serves as the Senior Tax Manager at Etrends Group, bringing nearly three decades of tax expertise to the individuals and businesses he advises. A proud graduate of Brigham Young University, Jeff holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, grounding his work in a strong academic and technical foundation.

With 28+ years of experience, Jeff has built a reputation for guiding clients through even the most complex tax situations. He’s known for his calm, patient approach and his ability to translate complicated tax rules into clear, actionable strategies. For Jeff, the most rewarding part of his work is helping people feel confident and empowered when it comes to their finances.

Outside the office, Jeff is all about family. He loves spending time with his wife, their four children, and four grandchildren—whether that’s enjoying a family gathering, cheering at a grandchild’s activity, or simply sharing a quiet evening together.

Jovia is an experienced accountant and leader and a CPA licensed in Uganda. Based in St. George, Utah, she loves elevating every business she works with.

Chyvonne is an expert tax preparer in the state of Nevada with a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of tax season. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, combining her academic knowledge with practical experience to deliver exceptional service. Chyvonne’s diligence and perseverance are key attributes that she brings to the team. She excels in meticulously preparing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing personalized advice to meet each client's unique needs. Her dedication to continuous learning and professional development enhances her ability to serve our clients effectively. Fun fact: “I have an adventurous spirit and have been ziplining in 10 different countries. When I'm not crunching numbers or studying, you can find me enjoying a good book with a cup of tea.”

Avinav is a finance and accounting professional at Etrends Group, bringing more than five years of experience from a Big Four firm to the clients he supports. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and a Master of Science in Finance from Hult International Business School, giving him a strong technical foundation in financial modeling, corporate finance, and data analysis.

Throughout his career, Avinav has guided teams in optimizing financial processes, strengthening tax compliance, and uncovering cost‑saving opportunities for businesses across a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and media. He’s known for his collaborative, steady approach and his commitment to delivering clear, practical solutions—even in complex financial environments.

Outside the office, Avinav enjoys staying active through cricket and basketball. Whether on the field or the court, he brings the same focus on teamwork, strategy, and continuous improvement that he brings to his professional work.

Harmain is an ACCA finalist and experienced controller. An entrepreneur himself, he brings a strong understanding of international business.
